After a short night we arrived at the airport. Breezed through check in and security. Because not all of us had an up to date Nexus, we waited an hour to clear US customs. Then the wait.
We arrived in LA four hours later. We had a late lunch at Bubba Gumps on the Santa Monica pier (memories of 2013 when we were here with our friends Dave and Pat for Rose Bowl).

After a long first day, we headed to our hotel to catch some sleep.
