After a good nights sleep, we decided to take it easy. We drove down Hollywood Blvd to see the sights, TCL Chinese Theater where the stars hand and foot prints are immortalized in concrete. Then off to the Dolby Theater, home of The Oscars.
We also drove by the Mecca for all magicians, The Magic Castle. I was there years ago.
We associate Hollywood with the glitz and glamour of the movie and entertainment world. As you wander or drive down Hollywood Boulevard, you come to yet another landmark that shows the stark reality of Hollywood and how some people live in the land of make believe. We’ll never see this scene on Oscar Night.
We then took a drive up the coast, had lunch over looking Malibu, then headed to the airport for our midnight flight to Tahiti.
